Australian Activewear Brands

Like a sold-out spin class on a Saturday morning that’s heaving with fitness fanatics and gym junkies, the market for Australian activewear brands has never been more populated than it is right now.

As a nation of outdoor enthusiasts who love to live an active lifestyle, Aussies simply can’t get enough of Australian activewear brands.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the staggering amount of athleisure apparel labels available to pick from, we’ve made your life a bit easier by highlighting four of the top Australian activewear brands available at HyperLuxe.

Available online and in store at HyperLuxe North Beach, Karrinyup, Applecross and Dunsborough, these industry leaders score top marks for fashionability, function and sustainability.

P.E Nation

Fusing high tech contemporary athletic apparel with nostalgic 90s streetwear, P.E Nation is a trend-setting, industry leading entity in the Australian athleisure scene.

Designing standout pieces and staples that can be worn “all day, every day, for every body”, P.E Nation’s founders Pip Edwards and Claire Tregoning have worked tirelessly to position their brand at the top of the fashion food chain.

In the six years since the label’s inception, P.E Nation has leaped from strength to strength on the back of its passionate and talented founders, and is now coveted across the globe by lovers of fashion-forward design and fast-paced lifestyles.

Leelo Active

Looking for leggings that won’t leave you feeling exposed every time you squat or lunge? Then Perth’s own Leelo Active should be at the top of your shopping list.

An Australian activewear brand that’s as passionate about wellness as it is about high performance garments, Leelo Active founders Bethany Walker and Sean Meyer have built up a cult following for their label in a little over two years.

Counting celebrities such as JLo and Hailey Bieber amongst their A-list clientele, Leelo Active champion comfort, style and quality with every garment they produce.

Nude Lucy

If chic activewear basics in low key sepia hues set your heart aflutter, Nude Lucy’s latest collection might just send you into cardiac arrest.

Hailing from sunny Sydney, this always on-trend Australian activewear brand was established in 2010 as a reflection of Australia’s relaxed way of life. In the years following, Nude Lucy has forged a reputation for producing timeless casualwear that stands up to the rigours of a busy Aussie lifestyle.

Nude Lucy’s latest range, The Carter Collection, is so stunning that it’s hard to pick a standout piece. From track pants to shorts and puffers in beautiful neutral tones, there’s a lot to love about Nude Lucy’s effortlessly cool designs.

Nimble

Not content to just produce stylish athleisure apparel, Vera Yan and Katia Santilli, founders of Australian activewear brand Nimble, have saved 1,793,025 plastic bottles from landfill (and counting).

With conscious clothing at the heart of their brand’s ethos, Nimble’s signature MoveLite fabric is created using plastic bottles that would have otherwise ended up in landfill.

From the fabrics they use to their production and packaging practices, Nimble receives top marks for their commitment to athleisure that doesn’t come at a cost to Mother Nature.

Here at HyperLuxe we are utterly obsessed with Nimble’s recycled Trail Time Leggings that are engineered to provide a sculpted fit with two hidden pockets so that you can train without worrying about where your phone or keys are.
